Vincent J Russo J.D., LL.M., CELA*

VINCENT J. RUSSO, CELA is the managing shareholder of the law firm of Vincent J. Russo & Associates, P.C. of Westbury, Islandia, Lido Beach, and Woodbury, New York. He earned his law degree from Fordham University Law School and his Masters of Law in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law.

Mr. Russo is admitted to the New York, Massachusetts and Florida state bars. He is also the co-author of New York Elder Law Practice (West Group) and the the consumer book A Will Is Not Enough In New York, as well as the Consulting Attorney of When Someone Dies In New York, both published by Eagle Publishing Company.

Mr. Russo is a certified elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation and is a Founding Member, Fellow, and Past President of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He is a Founding Member and President of the New York Chapter of NAELA and is presently the Chair of the NAELA Medicaid Strategies Task Force.

He is a Founding Member and Past Chair of the Elder Law Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), is currently Chair of the Leadership Task Force, and is a member of the American Bar Association.

He is Past Chair and Founder of the Legal Advisory Committee to the Alzheimer's Association Long Island Chapter, a member of the Arthritis Foundation Long Island Chapter Legal Advisory Committee on Elder Law, Disability and Estate Planning, a member of the committees on Elder Law of the Nassau County and Suffolk County Bar Associations, President of the UCPN Guardianship Corporation as well as a former board member of United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County.

He is also Co-Founder of the Theresa Alessandra Russo Foundation which assists children with special needs.

Mr. Russo is a nationally recognized author, lecturer and authority in Elder Law and was the only elder law attorney named in Whos Who in Law by Long Island Business News.

He has been a special guest on many radio and television programs, including CBS SUNDAY MORNING, NBCS TODAY SHOW, CNN, CNBC, THE FOX NEWS NETWORK, CSPAN II, TELECARE, WCBM, WRHU and NEWS 12 LONG ISLAND.

Frank L. Buquicchio, Esq.

FRANK L. BUQUICCHIO, is a Partner with the law firm of Vincent J. Russo & Associates, P.C. of Westbury, Islandia, Lido Beach and Woodbury, New York. He earned his law degree at Hofstra University School of Law and was admitted to practice in 1994. Frank is a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar Associations. Frank is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), a member of the New York State and Suffolk County Bar Association Elder Law Committee (past Co-Chair) and the Suffolk County Bar Association Surrogate's Court Committee. He is on the Legal Advisory Committee for the Alzheimers Association - Long Island Chapter. Frank is admitted to the New York State and New Jersey State Bars and is also an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Frank has published articles in The Suffolk Lawyer, 50+Lifestyles Newspaper and Eldercare, Ltd., and has appeared in Newsdays Act II as Ask the Expert and in Gray Matters. He has appeared as a frequent guest speaker on WALK AM Radios Memories in Melodies. Frank has presented numerous seminars on Elder Law and Estate Planning throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties to both consumers and professionals.
