    David J. Lillesand is the principal of Lillesand and Wolasky, P.L., attorneys with offices in Miami and Gainesville, Florida. The firm represents disabled children, adults and their families in Social Security/SSI disability claims, Medicaid, Special Needs Trusts, Guardianship and Estate Planning matters. David graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1966 with a degree in Political Behavior, and the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1972, and began representing individuals with SSI disability claims in 1974. David is the current co-chair of the Special Needs Trust Committee of the Florida Bar's Elder Law Section. Since beginning private practice in 1979, he has been a frequent lecturer on Social Security disability, SSI, special needs trusts, Medicaid, guardianship, and legal and financial planning for disabled children and adults, before organizations such as the American Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimant Representatives, the national Society of Settlement Planners, the New Jersey Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and numerous Bar association continuing legal education programs. He received the ARC’s Plotkin Outstanding Legal Service Award for service to mentally retarded citizens, is a three-time recipient of the Pro Bono Volunteer of the Year Award from the South-Miami Kendall Bar Association, and received the Florida Bar President’s Pro Bono Service Award for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. He has been President of his two local bar associations, chairman of the South Florida Council on Divorce Mediation, and President of Guardianship and Case Management Services, Inc. David is trilingual, speaking English, Spanish and POMS, the Social Security Administration's policy manual.

    Marjorie Wolasky has been practicing law in the Miami area since 1980. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami. She practices real estate, estate planning, probate and elder law. She as a Florida Bar Board Certified in Elder Law. She is a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property Trust and Probate Law Section of the Florida Bar, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys, the Academy of Special Needs Planners and the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. She served as the representative of the Elder Law Section on the Ad Hoc Committee responsible for the drafting of Florida's new trust code. She is the proud recipient of the 2005-2006 Member of the Year Award of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar.


    Ms. Wolasky is active in Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar, where she serves of the Executive Council of the Section. She serves as vice-chair of the Liaison to the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, and the Advanced Directives Committee. She is a member of the Executive Council of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar, Co-Chair of its Estate Planning Committee and a member of the Elder Abuse and Exploitation Committee.


    Ms. Wolasky is also a member of Commercial Real Estate Women of Miami and is a member of the Attorney's Real Estate Council of Miami-Dade County, Florida. She lives in Palmetto Bay, Florida with her husband Michael Mosher and their children Brandon and Sarah.
