Don L. Rosenberg is a founding principal of The Center for Special Needs Planning, a division of the law firm of Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras, P.C. and has been practicing law for over twenty-six years. Don's practice is limited to specializing in issues concerning long term care, nursing home, Medicaid, disability, and estate and special needs planning.

Member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is listed in the Academy's Experience Registry since 1991 in the areas of Planning for Disabilities, Estate Planning, Estate and Gift Tax Planning, Decedents (Probate) Estate Administration, Guardian/Conservatorship and Medicaid Planning.

Currently officer of the Elder Law and Advocacy Section of the State Bar of Michigan and formerly a Council member (served 7 years).

Don is a frequent lecturer and is a twelve year member of the Professional Speaker's Bureau of the Alzheimer's Association Greater Michigan Chapter. He has spoken before many groups including Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education (Medicaid Update), Wayne State University, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Macomb County Intermediate School District, Special Olympics, Michigan Association of School Administrators, Macomb County Life Underwriters, and numerous public seminars given in conjunction with colleges, senior centers, stock brokerage firms, accounting firms, financial planners and life insurance agencies.
